The purpose of this thread is?
Well, it's a comment on the surge as the writer/cartoonist , Trudeau, thinks Fox News would do it.
I thought of posting a link to December 29 when this little story started to put the panel above into context.
Here it is: http://www.uclick.com/client/can/db/2008/12/29/

Yeah, I know - but the mic that Roly is holding says "Fox". Go figure.![]()

I didnt notice that, thats funnay as hell!!!
I originally thought that it was questioning the fact that Christians are being persecuted in Iraq. This cartoon was totally lost on me. I guess because half of it couldn't even be read.![]()
Pam - If you mean that the last two panels have half the Iraqi guy's conversation cut out - that is the POINT. How he is telling HIS story, and the US media is putting its own interpretation OVER it.
I chose to post the link instead of copying and pasting all the cartoons in this story. Those who want the whole context can click the link and then "next" on each day's cartoon.

I'm a Christian and I don't get it especially since you can't read half of it, and b/c the entire thread wasn't posted. its like taking a sentence out of an entire paragraph and trying to figure out what the book is about.

I don't get it? I thought it was about Christians being persecuted in Iraq.... oh wait.. HEY!! -__-
Dogs//Wolves//Animals=:
The cartoon is trying to explain that Christians in Iraq are being persecuted and the mainstream news (perhaps Fox?) is failing to report the story.
The reporter is telling the story HE wants to tell rather than the story being told by the Christian.
It is sympathetic to the plight of the persecuted Christian.
