    Flat-coated Retriever

Hi, this is Lady. My Son's (well actually, we argue about that since I adore her just as much) flat-coated retriever. Lady is 1 year old and she is very intellingent and lovable.

Here's my favorite picture of her. I tell you those eyes can make ice cream melt.

I think i'm going to love this forum

Wow she is gorgeous! She has the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. Those are great pictures. We all know how hard it is to take pictures of a black dog!

I'm so happy everyone loves her pictures. Lady to us is extremely special. You see, when she was born her mother abandoned her in my garden; she was semi-buried in the soil, umbilical cord and all. My boyfriend kept hearing a screeching sound and thought maybe it was a cat, and upon further investigating he found Lady. We've had her from Day-1. At first I was sure she was a Labrador, but eventually her mother turned up (with 4 other puppies) and the owner said she was a flat-coated retriever.

Let me tell you...that is one smart breed. Lady learns tricks extremely fast and her disposition is the best. I am convinced she feels I'm her Mom since she adores me, as we adore her. It was a cold rainy day when she was found and we're very lucky she survived that ordeal.

Doesn't she look respectable there? She's got a great attitude.

As far as I'm concerned, you can add as many photos as you want!
Did you bottle feed her from Day 1? Where did you keep her? How noble and compassionate of you! Must have been an ordeal and shock at first, but, WOW and OMG! She's an absolute beaut!!!!! The eyes are the mirror of the soul, you know, so needless to say... she's an angel! I sinply adore her!

    I've been Boooo'd!
