Yesterday was the two week anniversary that my family pts my beloved Bart due to complications from Degenerative Myelopathy. Today when I went to the mailbox there was something from our veterinarian. I thought it perhaps was a sympathy card. Instead it was a bill for his euthanasia, which I paid for the day of Bart's passing. SIGH :0(. It was so unexpected to see that and also to see Bart's name with the words extra large euthanasia next to it. This seemed a little callus to me and I understand it is an invoice but I think in these type of situations it could be posted differently in the invoice. The whole bill upset me in all ways. I paid for it that day so I wouldn't encounter this...I had to call the vet office and through my tears explain to them that I had already paid. They found the mistake but by that time my heart was broken all over again. :0( R.I.P Bart, my gaurdian angel.
