    HI-WHAT A GREAT LOOKING SNAKE! I LOVE THE VIDEO AND THE SONG YOUR OWNER USED. IT'S GREAT THAT YOU HAVE A GREAT, COZY LIFE WITH HER NOW AND YOU ARE SAFE HONEY!YOUR SCALES ARE BEAUTIFUL. ONCE IN THE 70'S I WAS WITH A FRIEND SOMEWHERE IN A SHOP IN BOSTON AND I TRIED PUTTING A LARGE SNAKE AROUND MY SHOULDERS AND IT ACTUALLY FELT NICE AND COOL! NOW I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN UPSTATE NY FOR YEARS AND I AM TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF BY MY CATS! LOL!! HAPPY PET OF THE DAY TO YOU EKANS AND I HOPE YOU STAY SAFE AND MAYBE WE'LL GET TO SEE YOU IN MORE VIDEOSSUSANSWATLIN518

    Ekans! It took me a minute, but I get it now -- your name is "snake" backwards! Very clever, and a lovely name for a gorgeous boy.

    I was sorry to hear about your early life with people who didn't understand or appreciate how you needed to be treated, but am so glad that you and Heather have found one another and that you're being so beautifully cared for now.

    There aren't too many bad spots that can't be made at least a little better by either a nap, a cat, or both.

    I hardly ever look at pets other than cats, but Ekans, you are a very handsome guy! Your scales are beautiful and you have lovely eyes.

    Don't know a lot about snakes, but apparently you didn't have a good home before. Sounds like you are living the good life now with all the accessories!

    Happy Pet of the Day, Ekans! What a magnificent creature you are, even more awesome in motion! I so enjoyed reading about your rags to riches story, of the happy and LOVE filled life you lead! Thank goodness your human came along when she did, rescuing your from that dreadful place, those uncaring, neglectful "owners!" But those sad days are but a distant memory; you found your forever home!

    Thanks to your guardian for sharing that terrific video with us! Wow, what a fun assortment of critters you share your home with...furred, finned, scaled, feathered! Every companion animal deserves a home as warm and loving as yours, a guardian as devoted, as responsible and caring as yours! Congratulations and best wishes to you on your well earned day in the spotlight! Hope you and the entire menagerie are enjoying a very happy, love and adventure filled day of celebration!

    We also have a snake ... and his name is also Ekans! (Though most of the time we just call him Mr. Snake.) He was named after the Pokemon character. Were you, too?
