    They have me sooooo trained

    I'm away at work in Prudhoe Bay http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prudhoe_Bay,_Alaska for my regular 2-week hitch.

    Last night Billy, my suitemate (the guy who sleeps in the room next to me but shares the bathroom/shower) asked me why I have been leaving the water on in the sink at night.

    I mumbled something about forgetting to turn it off and split.

    My cats have me so trained! Even when I'm 650 miles away from them, I'm leaving the faucet dripping.

    That's funny! Moon wasn't allowed to have any water this morning because of getting his teeth cleaned. When I looked out of the bathroom and he was sitting staring at the sink, I almost started to cry. He loooooves to drink out of the faucet.

    Thanks Jen. I think it's hysterical too.
    When I'm away at work, I sometimes find myself walking very carefully to make sure I don't step on a cat. Or I think I see them out of the corner of my eye. My brain forgets that I'm not home. It's just so ingrained in me to watch out for their needs and comfort.
