    Any Moody Blues fans here??

We both are big fans!! They are making a world tour now. Yesterday evening they had a unique concert in Belgium, in Ostend. Only 1 km away from our appartment there!
    Oh my, it was W O N D E R F U L !!!!
"Nights in White satin", "Questions", "Ride my seesaw" (sp?)
I was almost melting away in my chair

I took several pics without flash, and they turned out really well!
    Enjoy!!

I made a video too, while they were singing "Nights in White Satin""! But I have to resize that firt. I will add it later!

Lut, I've always liked the Moody Blues. Can't say I've followed them over the years though. Glad you enjoyed!

    ROTFL !!
    We ARE, Richard...!!
I felt even older when my son asked me to what concert we were going; I replied we were going to see the famous Moody Blues! His reaction: "WHO ???"

It was fun to watch the audience too; no young people, nobody younger than 40.... I saw some real oldies rocking and singing along, clapping above their head with both hands!!

I saw Roger Waters a few years ago and was amazed tie dyed t-shirts were still being sold!

When you lend your son your MBs albums, make sure you get them back!

Your story reminded me of one where a father had a conversation with his daughter about Paul McCartney and his 'new' band, Wings.

The father brought up the fact that Sir Paul was a member of the Beatles.
    The girl was shocked!

"You mean PAUL MACCARTNEY WAS IN ANOTHER BAND?!?!?!?"

Oh Lut, that must have been a great concert. Of course I remember Moody Blues, just thinking of Nights in white Satin gives me goose bumps. Uh, aren't we getting old! But we're lucky to have grown up with quality music!

For the record, I'm a Moody Blues fan and Im under 40

    Heck I'm under 30 even!

My mom had all of their albums when I was growing up and I still enjoy listening now. How lucky for you to see them in concert! My mom went to several when I was younger but sadly I wasn't allowed to go as they were in casinos

I agree with this, completely. I am way over forty, and I guarantee you that I would have been standing on the chairs, throwing my hands in the air, and flat out rockin'. That's what live concerts are for. I am glad you went and had a good time, Lut. The Moody Blues have always been one of my favorite groups. Man, we had good music back then.

Nothing wrong with rockin well into old age

My mom went to a Kiss concert with my brother one time. He nearly died of embarasment when my mom (in full face pant ) stood on the chair in the front row and started to dance. I would have loved it myself lol.

Mom went to Kid Rock/Lit with me. She was dancing more than almost anyone there (except me of course ha ha). I had a blast!

I know when Nick starts going to concerts/shows I'm going to be right up front dancing my butt off too, no matter how much it embarasses him lol

    But since you gotta go
Oh you had better go now
    Go now .....

Well alright, Nights in White Satin was OK as well.

I had a look at that link you found, Phred. It said "more than 30 years have elapsed since the Moody Blues entered the record scene. And the rest, guys!

Sounds a good night, Lut. I'm glad you had a good time.
