I would like to introduce the newest furry members of my household ... Cali and Joseph. Before we get to the photos there is a little bit of a story behind their adoptions. Earlier this year Melissa (dolittleky) helped me to "fail at fostering" and I adopted a young kitten named Chrissy. She was blind in both eyes, but other than that was fine. She fit into the household with only one problem. Because she was so young she wanted to play all the time and was constanting bugging the other cats to play. They were tolerant (up to a point). Kind of like when you were a kid and your younger borther/sister wanted to tag along with you all the time
I finally decided that I needed to get some A cat Chrissy's age and because she was blind I was also looking for one about her ability. (Yes everyone has teased me about that.) Well I found both Cali and Joseph through petfinder.com. At first I was only going to take one of them, but as you might have guessed I have little will power in this area, so I ended up with two young cats.
Joseph is blind in both eyes from an untreated infection when he was very young and Cali was born blind in one eye, but the other eye works just fine.
The three of them do really well together and there is much more peace between cats, because the older ones can now sleep in peace and the younger ones always have a buddy to play with.
