    Red Panda (pic)

So I just bought some pastels to use for a drawing...I was thinking of using them for a class assignment too, I haven't really used pastels since probably junior high. I decided to do a quick practice drawing to get familiar with using them. I started it at 8:30, its now midnight. Remind me to not start any "practice" drawings before 6:00 from now on. I usually have a really hard time finishing anything in one sitting, I get sick of drawing easily, I don't know what I was thinking tonight. It still needs work but at this point I don't care, I have to go to bed because I work in the morning. I have some other drawings to post too, just have to get a good pic of them.

It was based on this photo (taken by me) but I changed it a little

It's fabulous Amy. I love the changes you made, simplifying the background and bringing out the face more. Very good!

Amazing how much "life" from the photo is captured in the pastels. Great job!

Gorgeous work Amy! I haven't used pastels since college. Don't you love how the chalk gets everywhere.
