    Early voting.

Has anyone here taken advantage of early voting, if your state has it?

Hubby and I went today and got it over with.
There weren't many people in line however the lady who took our ID's said that they have gotten over 400 people a day since the 20th of October (when early voting started). Not bad for my little NE FL. town.

So, did you vote already or are you waiting for November 4th?

I voted already. Nothing was going to change my mind so...why wait?

Michigan does not have early voting per se, but we are able to vote absentee. So I voted on Tuesday.

The long lines at the three early sites have convinced me to vote early.
If it's like this now, what will it be like on the 4th? I'll probably vote this
    weekend.

In Texas our Early Voting Stops Friday 31st.. You had better make sure your State is still doing over this weekend..

We do not have early voting in NJ, I wish we did. Although I must say that I have not had to wait in line on Election Day for more than 10 minutes in the last 20 years so it's not that big of a problem.

I believe the last chance for early voting will be Monday and that will be
at a state office downtown only. (hours limited)

I voted today. Since this is my first election, I wanted to vote on the actual election day. But, I have an extremely important test on Thursday and I can't take the chance that I'd be waiting in line for hours while not being able to study. So, I went today. I still had to wait for about an hour, but that's better than I imagine it will be on election day.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of the first time voters!!

I envy you - back when I cast my first ballot, the age was 21. So I had to wait until I was 24 to vote in a Federal Election.
