Same. I will support him as president, but I can't say that I'm happy about this outcome.

The wet coast puts Obama over the top!!!!!!

How exciting. My honey and I had just flipped over to the Daily Show and they were the very first to announce that Obama would be our new president! How appropo.

I'm so very happy that this is a decisive victory - our country did not need the pain from the past two elections.

    WE DIDN'T EVEN NEED FLORIDA!

    (ok, I'll calm down now).

    True story,
this morning at work, a couple of men (african-american), were cleaning/vacunming the offices at work and we briefly mentioned the election today. Once I said I was voting for Obama, the joy and pride in their eyes was almost unmeasurabe.

Finally, the stain of the original founding of our country (with slavery intact) may finally start to heal.

Its the 21st century people - isn't it grand!

These are not the droids you were looking for

Watch your wallet. It's about to get lighter.

Looking at my latest 401K balance, I'd say the Bush years already took care of that quite nicely.

I just have to say, if McCain won, the reaction from some people would be the same, if not WAY worse... Please look at both sides of this issue.

I have always said McCain is a good man, I would not be talking about burying weapons and going broke...look at where we are at now under a republican...get real.

I have not heard anyone say anything about burying weapons, but if they do, that is their choice. Its an opinion. NOONE is right or wrong.

And I am not Republican... This is the FIRST time ever I felt I NEEDED to vote that way

    Glad it is over.

I agree. Obama is our president now, but he wasn't my choice.
