    As Nov. 4th approaches...

First, a quote from a wise man.

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."
    -- John Quincy Adams

With this in mind, vote. But vote for the person you belive in. Don't vote for somebody because "the other guy/girl is a bone head."

Don't forget about the 3rd parties out there.

    Bob Barr - Libertarian
    Chuck Baldwin - Constitution
    Cynthia McKinney - Green
    Ralph Nader - Independant/Alien

    Now comes my pitch... LOL

If you REALLY believe in Obama or McCain, vote for them. But if you are truly fed up with the stauts quo the "R's" and "D's" continually serve up, vote for a 3rd party. If enough people vote for them, it sends a small message. But never forget all fire starts with a spark.

It is OUR country. Never forget that.
"Unlike most of you, I am not a nut."

    - Homer Simpson

"If the enemy opens the door, you must race in."

    - Sun Tzu - Art of War

I would add that, even if there's no one you feel you can vote for, show up to vote anyway. Getting your name checked off and a ballot into the system shows you care about the country, and your own rights. People fought very hard to give us the right to vote, and nothing is more depressing than reports of low voter turnout.

In Massachusetts, it is very important that we get all animal friends to the voting booth. After a lot of effort, much collection of signatures and time and energy, we have a chance to ban greyhound racing in our state.

It isn't, of course the dogs that are getting banned, but the horrific practices that keep them confined and get them abused, injured, drugged, etc. You want to race your pet greyhound? Go for it, and have a good time - watching a sighthound run can be joy in motion! I'm all for that!

Stop and think about this - what if suddenly things changed in our country and YOU COULD NOT VOTE - EVER AGAIN.

Only then might we realize that the greatest right, responsibility and obligation had been robbed from us.

Freedom - never take it for granted - cherish it and use it - by getting out to vote.

This is a great country and you are part of it. Your voice counts!
