    Once upon a time

Once upon a time, there lived a handsome brown tabby named Pouncer. He was a sweet little brown tabby who worked hard all day long begging the mean King and Queen of the land feed all the poor starving kitties. He's usually quite successful, especially once he gains access to the queen's jewels and sends baubles scurrying across the land.

He doesn't ask his fellow kitties for anything in return, merely a nice cozy space to curl up at the end of a long day.

First he finds solace with Princess Flutter. The bed is roomy enough for two but has a hole where our hero's *ahem* little bottom falls through.

That obviously did not suit our hero and he went in search for more appropriate accomodation elsewhere in the land. He came upon a nice basket that he favors on occasion, but there too seemed to be a problem with this spot

He continued on his search and tried one last favorite space -- the king and queen's bed. Though there was plenty of room, and indeed would offer much comfort to the weary Pouncer, alas, it was already occupied by two monsters.

Our poor brown tabby had to retire for the evening under the kind and queen's bed.

    Poor Pouncer.

But as the evening continues, the monsters will be called away - to their own respective dinners, and perhaps, after calling the king and queen to feed the feline masses, he will be able to return and find the bed empty!

Don't worry, poor Pouncer. Considering all the things you do for your fellow felines, the king and queen will ultimately provide for your complete and absolute comfort! Scritchies and lovies are being sent just for you!

Do not fear handsome Prince Pouncer, you will find your place in your palace that will be only YOURS soon. (prefurrably a good spot where no one can find you and wake you from your naps)

LOL!!!!!! Kim, how I LOVED your story of poor tired Pouncer. The pictures are priceless, especially the second one.

Poor dear sweet Pouncer, I pray that you were able to find a more comfortable place to sleep rather than under the King & Queen's bed, where it is dark and kind of hard on the floor.

Ah Pouncer, take heart, brave one. There will soon come a day when the monsters will be overtaken due to their fierce respect for your courage and profound generosity for your subjects, the King and Queen of the realm will reward your faithful service and you, my prince, will be KING of all you survey. Remain courageous in your quest for the perfect place to lay your royal fur person and soon it will come to pass. Keep the faythe.
    Blessings,
    Mary

This is obviously from Grimm's fairy tales and so it will have a happy ending
    Which is what Pouncer deserves.
