    Quoth the Raven: Nevermore!

In the event there is anyone out there with an upcoming vacation, and you would like to cash in on a wonderful opportunity to see Willow Oak for yourself, you might be interested in this article, which was published in today's Daily Corinthian.

A bed and breakfast near Willow Oak is offering $600 worth of gift certificates, which can be used for overnight stays, meals, etc. Shiloh National Military Park is nearby, as are Corinth, Mississippi, and Selmer, Tennessee. Willow Oak is only a stone's throw away. Pickwick Dam of Wild River fame is within 12 miles of the bed and breakfast.

The owners of the bed and breakfast will give $600 to anyone and everyone who can quote Edgar Allen Poe's poem The Raven. No strings attached. Read the article for yourself.

At the time it was fought, Shiloh was the bloodiest of the U.S. Civil War battles. Selmer, Tennessee, is where Buford Pusser of "Walking Tall" fame did his work, and it is where Mary Winkler lived and shot her husband.

Believe it or not, I can do that. He was my favorite poet during my high
    school years.

The Raven is one of my all time favorites, most of it I memorized watching the Simpsons (it was featured on one of the holloween episodes)

What a great way to get people to use their brains!
