    Meet the Ol Lady!

well..ok she's not mine..I have no idea what her name even is, I have just been calling her "ol Lady". some little girls down my block found her, they knocked on my door asking to borrow a leash so they could walk her around and try to find her owner, I toold her that if she didnt find this pooches owner, to bring her to me and I would do what I could. so I have a big ol Lady in the house, since everything was closed when she was brought to me, I couldnt do much. she is quiet old, grey faced, hardly any teeth left(awful breath) and very arthritic. she is a total doll though, my dogs are already protecting her as one of their own.

and after I gave her a groom and a message

she has claimed this spot as her bed lol

I sure hope you can find her owners. She must feel so lost and confused. Good luck!

That is wonderful that you are taking her in until her owners are found.
I just hope her owners didn't "dispose" of her because she is getting older.
I will be hoping her owners are looking for her and they will be reunited soon.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I'm so glad she found you to take care of her.....Old dogs can get so confused, and I'm sure she is feeling comfort knowing she is around someone who cares for her.

She looks so sweet. I'm thinking that she might have wandered off too, I hope her family & you meet up soon. They must be so worried about her. If only she could tell them "hey, I got groomed & massaged, had food and a warm place to sleep, & met some new doggie friends while I waited for you to come find me!"

How nice of you to take her in until you find her home. It has to be nice for her to feel safe instead of wandering around wondering where she is and how she got there. I hate to say it but if you groomed Jack who is 10 and massaged him, he may not want to come home! Well, actually he doesn't care much for being groomed but he does like to be rubbed. But if he was warm, inside and being fed, I am not sure he would be too worried about us finding him.
