Canidae dog food causing illness?

I know these things pop up all the time and never know what to believe but I figured I'd post this here so we can all make our own educated decisions about the food we feed our babies.

I read thru a lot of the posts people sent tot he consumer complaints site about Canidae. I've been feeding Canidae for atleast 6-7yrs... its been a while.... and I wasn't to happy to hear about the change in ingredients, but wanted to give it a try anyway.... but I've been feeding the new forumula for atleast 3 wks now, possibly a little longer and the dogs have had no vomitting and no diarrhea, they love the food and eat it very well.

I think a day or two after they were on mostly a mix of the new formula the dogs did have more of a yellow colored stool, but that has sinced changed.... but like I said no diarrhea or vomitting... my dogs have been able to handle it well.

As far as the size difference of the bags some people who have posted in consumer complaints talked about.... we have been getting the 44lb bags for basicly the same price as the 40lb bags....

So far so good for my dogs... I feed it to the adults and now the puppies are also eating it with no complaints. The puppies are currently eating a mix of about 75% new formula and 25% old formula, I saved the last bag of the old formula just for the puppies so I could switch them over even slower.

I've been feeding my dogs Canidae All Life Stages for a long time. When I heard that they changed their formula, I seriously considered changing to something else. I decided to get a small bag and try it. My dogs have not had any problems at all, and still love the food. I discussed it with my vet, and he said that they should be fine, eating the Canidae!
