    Cloning your Dog

Would you clone your dog? Do you think in the future that it will be possible to clone your dog?

People have already cloned dogs. I for one would never clone my dog. I think that cloning messes with God's plan too much. Also, there are too many unwanted dogs out there. No need to make more.

No. It is pointless. There are already too many homeless animals as it stands. Additionally, it would be creepy to have a copy of my deceased pet just walking around as if nothing had ever happened. What kind of expectations would you have for them? etc.

I hope this answers your question! ^_^

No, like lute said there are plenty of other dogs needing homes. Personally, I think it's just silly!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

No, after all, its only the same dog in body. Its mind won't have gone through the same experiences so it won't be the same dog in personality. I don't believe you can clone a soul anyway, just an empty shell. Also, Autumn already has enough health problems, I wouldn't put another creature through that on purpose.

I would not because it would only be a genetic equivalent. There's no guarantee it'd even have the same markings. And it wouldn't have the same personality. It'd be kind of like having two twins that were raised apart from each other, in no way the same person. I'm not religious at all, I just don't see any reason to clone dogs.

I'll vote with Lute on that one too. The whole idea is sick, the way they are messing with animals today.
