My sweet Vita was helped to Rainbow Bridge earlier this afternoon. She had lived with me 12 years. I adopted her from the city shelter as an adult. Vita was diagnosed with hyperthyroid in February, and did not respond to the medicine. She was less than half her weight.

Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Sandie, Vita looks so much like my Pidge that they could be twins. Such a beautiful girl! I'm so sorry for your pain at losing her but she's at peace now and I hope that you soon will be as well. RIP, pretty Vita.

You certainly did all you could for her. I'm sorry for your loss. No matter how many you have, each of them tugs at your heart in different and unique ways.
