Not something you see every day

I was sitting here at my computer and looked out the window to see this.

I believe this man and his parrot live several blocks down at the entrance of the subdivision.

I sure did get a laugh!

LOL, that is cool!! I've seen people walking around with their birds on their shoulder, but not riding a bike.
Oh, and kudos to you for being so quick with the camera there!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Luckily I had it sitting here on the desk where I had been downloading pics.

That's cute. I love parrots. One day I hope to have an Eclectus.

How neat. This reminds me of when I was a young girl and a neighbohood boy used to ride his bike and/or moped around with his big fat rat on his shoulder.

That sounds like my house! Although there are no birds, yet.

What would you have done if that man looked over at you right as you were taking the picture? LOL

    Very cute though!

    Thank you so much Michelle!

Seeing how I had the camera shoved between the blinds I bet it would have looked funny.

Wow! Sharp shooting on your part.
The Plaza where I work has a band playing every Fri nite. Every Fri Nite this lady comes with her parrot. Once the band gets going, he's boogeying with the best of them. It's soooo cute! Between songs he just rests!
What a lucky birdie to be enjoying the great outdoors with his human.

Wow! Congrats to you for having your camera close by! I really got a big out of that! No wonder Bella, Ripley and Andy park themselves at the front window so much. You never know who or what might wander by!

There was this lady who used to go to the Petsmart near me who had an African Gray parrot that was a therapy bird. He'd sit on her shoulder and loved to be scritched on his chest. It's a strange sensation, petting a bird, because of the feathers! He also liked a neck scritch but you had to be very gentle.
