    And the peer is...

    Buddy, formerly known as Baby.

I came home from the vet and stripped out of my shorts. I threw them on the floor. Baby was closed in the bathroom. I had to go out and went to pick up my shorts and they were wet with pee.

I called Paula and told her that I have made MANY phone calls to try and find a temporary place for him. No one will take him without proof that he was tested for Feline Aids and Leukemia and was UTD on his shots. She has no paprwork at all on him and I don't have that kind of money. I asked her if she had $50 so I could at least have him tested and she said "Yeah right". That pissed me off!! She told me she lost her job assignment. I told her that the minute she moves into her apartment, I was bringing the cat back to her and it was her responsibility.

I am done. I feel like I've been taken for granted. So Buddy will be living in my bathroom until she gets her place.

I'm going to take a nap.

Oh Donna, don't despair. I know how difficult it can be when there's a pee cat in the household. I have 4 of them, so thank goodness for Clomicalm. At one point, I wanted to toss them all out the window. It'll get better; you'll be able to put this all behind you soon and it'll all be a memory. Keep the faythe and call me if you need to. I have good ears.
    Blessings,
    Mary

    Donna...when you wake up....

I know you don't like doing this, but tomorrow I could chip in something for Buddy's tests.

It suckes that he is a peeing cat - yet given all the upheaval and stress he has been through, I am not surprised.

And then that stresses YOU to the max.

How much $ does Buddy need, hon? Maybe you could pick up some Clomicalm for him...and essential oils for you!

I'm at least thankful that he has a bathroom to call home right now. You have certainly been through alot with all of your rescuing past and present. He too has been through alot with all the upheavel in his little life with his mom taking in an abusive person into her home and who knows what went on there, then being taken away from only person he's been able to count on and placed in a good and safe home but not being touched by anyone because of their allergies. I think this woman was wonderful to continue to allow him to stay despite her allergies but at the same time I felt so badly for Buddy because he wouldn't know the reason that no one was petting him or loving him. And then you opened your heart and home to him which is so generous of you but it's again a new place for him and honestly, he must be scared out of his mind being tossed around like a hot potato. I'm guessing he is just so stressed and is acting out because of it? Hard to know.
Believe it or not, when you first posted about him, I was considering offering him a home but then David P posted in that thread that he had spoken with you and that Buddy had found a loving home. Part of me was disappointed but I was thrilled for him. It was shortly after that, that I discovered an SPCA cat named Wallace that we decided to adopt and then found out that the shelter was trying to adopt him out with another cat that Wallace had become very good friends with at the shelter. So, it looks like we're adopting two cats from the SPCA. Shortly after that I read your post saying that Buddy's adoption fell through.
I feel so badly for this poor cat and I'm very thankful that you have taken him under your wing, even if it's just for a short time. I would like to contribute to getting an exam done and shots. Could you let me know if you have a paypal account? It will probably only be about 25.00 but I'm sure every little bit will help at this point.
Also, your other cats may have peed in the bathroom initially which might have 'inspired' him to do the same. Either way, I understand that inappropriate urination is going on and at this point it just has to stop.
Please give him a hug for me.
(He looks so much like our RB cat Charlie, like your RB Casey.)

I ironically had a cat named Baby who used to also pee all over my house as well. One time it upset my parents so bad that they threatened to give him away. I completely understand your frustration. We work so hard taking care of our babies and it is discouraging at times when they make our lives so much more difficult. I also am sorry that the woman who owns the cat is treating you like she is. It is unfortunate for both you and Baby to deal with someone like that. Hang in there, whenever you feel yourself getting very upset, just walk away from the situation and allow your self some room to cool down. I hope this woman will wake up and see all that you are doing for her. Good Luck!
    Sincerely,
    Kat
