Our Cockatiel, Roger, adopted us the same way you did, Maci. He marched up my daughter's arm and let her know that he needed to come home with us!

I'd never heard of your particular species of Budgie before...Wow, what an extra special feathered one you are! And that pet store keeper, and your Mom, are so right...you guys pick us, even though you occasionally indulge us and allow us humans to think otherwise! hehe

It's clear your Mom loves you, all three of you, so very much, unconditionally, and what a wonderful, caring, devoted guardian she is! You three are as blessed to have her as your Mom as she is to have you as and your cagemates as her loyal and loving companions! I have to admit, I got a little teary reading of your "group hug," the night of the big storm!
