Photos of an exhibition I saw

When I was at the clinic in Bad Gandersheim this summer, I visited an exhibition called "Entrance to history". Bad Gandersheim is a very old town, more than 1,000 years old, and there has always been a convent, so there's a strong historical background.

Here are three of the photos I took while I was there, nothing special, but I like the colors. Thought I'd share:

I may post more photos of Bad Gandersheim later, it's a beautiful little town with really old houses.

Wow I missed this thread. Bad Gandersheim is a great old historic place and there was a nun who in the middle age was one of thefirst educated women around here.

Yes, the nun was Roswitha, she wrote lyric. Her spirit is still very alive everywhere in Bad Gandersheim.

Between Hannover and Göttingen, it's a small town, close to the Harz (mountains in the middle of Germany).

Wow. A thousand year old town is just fascinating to me. I live in the American west, where towns are about a hundred years old.

Yes, you can really feel history everywhere when you walk through towns like that. My hometown is also very old (825 years), but not as old as Bad Gandersheim which was mentioned first in 852, as far as I know...
