    Oakland Raiders helping black kitties

    The shelter I volunteer at has received a donation from the Oakland Raiders to waive the adoption fees on all silver and black cats over 6 months of age for the next 10 weeks.

    What's weird is I was looking at the adoptable pets page yesterday and counted 17 black kitties and 3 or 4 black kitties w/white. Then when I got home and got my volunteer email I saw what the Raiders are doing. I was so happy!!

    Go Raiders!! (Yes, even though they are not the best (LMAO!) team, we are still fans.)

    I just recounted the black (only black, not black and white) kitties again and there are now 22!!
    I will update this thread weekly as the adoptions happen.
