    Look what I've made!!

I made a little shelf yesterday, painted it black and finished it this morning, now it's in its place in the hall... I found out that making furniture is a lot of fun (already made a little table for my kitchen last winter), but I don't have the right equipment, like a workbench, so my options are limited... BTW, I spent too much money on the deco stuff, but I couldn't resist when I saw these little candle holders and the glas bowl at the do-it-yourself-store.

Here's my little shelf (However, the kitty deco on the right is beyond any price... ). I'm also thinking about painting the walls terracotta-colored, just in case I decide not to move after all...

(Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, I was too lazy to change the settings on my flash )

Good job! Looks like she's contemplating whether to try stretching out underneath it or not!

So true! But she was actually waiting for the reflection on the wall from the camera's flash.

Very nice job. I'm glad to hear this is not your first project, or I'd be falling over in amazement, te hee. Something you can always treasure.

Wow, I really like it! You did an amazing job.

Making furniture was one of my favorite things that I did with my dad. And I have to agree, it is really fun! I can't imagine what wonderful things you could create if you had more equipment.

VERY nice! I especially like the tiger stripes (you knew I would ) Did you hand paint them or glue down decorative paper?

I wish I had the patience to make nice furniture like that.

Good job, it's very attractive. I wanted to know how you did the surface
    of the shelfs too.
