    YAY for my fosters

I had mentioned my foster kittens in my introduction post, they were saved from certain death at the pound. They were not related, but were caged together at the pound. The male, who we named Gus, was about 4 months old, and the female, who was much smaller, was named Penelope. They came to me with coccidia, worms, you name it. After 3 1/2 wks of Albon, we finally got clean stools! This weekend was their first weekend on the rescue website and at the adoption stand. And I am happy to say, THEY BOTH HAVE GOTTEN GREAT HOMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gus was adopted last night and I was able to meet his new mom. And I'm told Penelope's new family were so excited to have her, they took her already owned toys and bought a bunch of new ones for her to have. I'm so excited. I love when it all falls in place and you know that after the hard work to get them healthy and of providing them a safe loving environment that they go to homes where you know they will be taken care of. Here are some pics of them:
    1st pic is Gus
    2nd pic is Penelope
and 3rd pic is Gus, Penelope and my cat, Owen (notice Owen's handiwork on my sofa!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL)

OH gosh - as heartbreaking as rescue and fostering can be at times, it is SO great when it all flows like this!

They are Gorgeous babies, and healthy thanks to your efforts - little wonder they would have been adopted so quickly!

    Enjoy your new homes, babies!

I'm so glad to hear that they're both healthy now and that they both found their forever loving homes. They sure are cutie pies and so is your cat too. It looks like Owen needs his own scratching post.
