    Meat & Cleaver

With me showing dogs every weekend and working every weekday AND helping put a local humane society up I feel I cannot make enough time for my rattie boys. With my dogs taking up so much of my time I just don't have the time for them. I feel horrible and don't want to give them up. I said if I found the right owner I would give them up. I have found the PERFECT owner! She lives about 2hrs away from me. She has had rats before and spoils them rotten and shares the same opinions with a lot of animal related subjects and is involved in rescue. We've really hit it off. So I decided that the rattie boys will go to her. She is coming on Sunday to pick them up. I also sent her a link to Pet Talk. Hopefully she will join!
    Owned by two little pastries!

I think that is a very responsible thing to do. I know it is hard to give up your loved ratties, but you're doing the best thing overall, for them.

Let us know how it goes after she picks them up!

I, too, am very proud that you are responsible enough to know that they would do better under anothers' care. They do take a lot of attention, don't they? I am almost glad that all of mine are over 2 years old, all of them have really mellowed out.
I am very glad you found a new home for them, their new mum sounds perfect.
Hopefully she decides to join us. Good luck!
