    Anyone here know medical terminology?

A friend just had an EKG done, and part of it reads: "prob. normal early TRANS"

Anyone know what TRANS means? I would think it's an abbreviation or acronym, but not sure.

(nothing in the report looks serious - she just phoned me from the coast to find out what some of the acronyms meant. She wanted to figure out if she is going to keel over any moment! [She worries just a bit!] I will NOT allow her to treat herself over the internet, but I admit this one had me curious!)

    Thanks.

I believe they mean Transmural Ischemia. Could also be wrong, but that's what I found when searching. I know the attachment isn't "new", but it gives a good explanation of EKGs.

Thanks, Jenn! The guide is useful as well - very cool! Don't worry, I won't try it at home!
