    Bauer

    To Bauer's owners:
    I'm SO impressed! Good for you! You're everything a dog owner should be plus more. You should be very proud of yourselves. I am just so happy that there are people like yourselves out there, as is Bauer Wow, you folks are just wonderful! Thank you so much for the amazing story and doing what you have done for Bauer.

    To Bauer:
    Sweet boy you're so lucky indeed. Not only are you drop-dead gorgeous, and you've got about the coolest name I've heard, but you're the proud owner of some wonderful humans who take amazing care of you and do everything doggie parents should do for their devoted K9's. Please go give 'em a big, sloppy doggie kiss. They deserve it and so do you. Congrats on being the big, special, delightful, lucky DOTD.

    Bauer, what a handesome boy you are. I enjoyed reading your story very much, it was quite an interesting tale! You are such a lucky boy, for your dad to have rescued you from such an awful place. Sounds like your dad went through a lot to train you, but you are such a smart boy that you learned quickly. But what a change of scenery you and your humans have gone through! The city is definitely a hard place for a pup to get used to, but it looks like you`re doing a good job! Good luck learning to heel, but I`m sure for a guy like you it should be no problem. Have a wonderful day, handesome Bauer!

    Bauer, you seem like a great guy -- and I think it's wonderful that at such a young age, you already have such wonderful manners and know how to be kind and gentle with smaller animals. It is obvious that your humans have taken the time and effort to help you become a happy and well-trained dog.

    I am so glad that you were chosen by your awesome humans, and am very happy to congratulate you on being our Dog of the Day!

    Hi Bauer !!!

    We couldn't be more impressed to read your well written story, Bauer. It makes us feel great to know that your Dad not only saved you, but, he has dedicated his life to you. Kudos to him for doing such a great job and giving you a wonderful life. We can't help but wonder what happened to your siblings but we will believe that they all have wonderful homes like you. Shame on your original owners!! You have to be one of the cutest boys we've ever seen. We love that gorgeous black coat and those white sockies you're wearing. You're a cutie patootie. Kisses to you and Heidi from us. Heidi sounds like a take charge kinda girl. We would love to see you two together Congrats on your big day today, Bauer, extraordinary DOTD!!! Happiness to all of you always!!!!

    Beautiful Bauer

    I can say without hesitation that Pitt Bull Terriers have always terrified me, but I think Bauer is an absolutely beautiful dog. I can tell that you love him very much, and it sounds like you have done a wonderful job with him, and your dedication to his socialization and training is really quite commendable! As the owner of 3 Chihuahuas, I know how hard it is to get people to look past the reputation (yappy, ankle-biters that look like rodents) and to see the dog itself. We work hard at socializing our dogs so that they do not live up to their reputation, and let me tell you, with a brain the size of a pea, it isn't easy!!

    Best to Bauer and congratulations on Dog of the Day.

    Bauer, you are a beautiful pup. I was so happy reading the story of how to came to be with your family. I only hope your siblings were as lucky as you.

    Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

    Bauer;

    WOW! Your human could be an ambassador for pet adoption and how to be the best pet pawrent in the world! He (I assume) sounds like a wonderful person and I am sooooo happy for you that he chose to save you!! AND, it sounds like you are giving lots back. What a beautiful story(The part about you and your parents. The irresponsible dog owners down the street...not so beautiful). Have a wonderful day as DOTD and continue to have a wonderful life!

    Hi there handsome, adorable Bauer! Awww, look at that face, those paws! hehe What a be-U-tiful blend of two awesome breeds you are, and you inherited the best traits of both, sweetheart! Yes Bauer, you are one stellar ambassador for Pitties, check that, ambassador for doggies everywhere! I love when your Dad wrote, "with love and the proper training, any dog can be a GREAT dog!" If only more families/guardians were as caring and responsible and committed as yours, this world would be a better place, so many deserving doggies wouldn't suffer the hardships and sometimes tragic fates that they do! I have no doubt Bauer, that you are not only going to grow up to be one terrific ambassador for the Pitbull Community, but a wonderful, amazing therapy dog as well. What a noble endeavour you and your person are embarking upon, helping to heal wounded hearts and spirits with your special brand of gentle, non judgemental, unconditional love! I so enjoyed meeting you today sweetheart, learning all about you and your family, your wonderful life as it is today, and will be! You are truly deserving of the title Dog of the Day and we are so happy to honore you here today! Much love, a big hug, and lots of kisses and belly rubs to you and to Heidi too! Hope you all are in the midst of a very special, happy and carefree day of celebration! Long and happy life to you, precious Bauer
