Goodbye Tony Snow, Michael DeBakey and

    Charile Jones.

Tony Snow was a Fox News anchor and a press secretary for the WHite House. I liked to watch him do the news.

I was really upset that the Ariana Huffintounge Crapsite, the Huffington Post,
wished him a painful death when he resigned his WH post....Some contributors posted those thoughts....You have to love the internet.

    ---------------

Michael Debakey was the heart surgeon who pioneered the heart transplant.

I remember way back when in the 60's when the 1st HT was done!
    Brilliant man....he was 99!

    ----------

Charlie Jones passed away a few weeks ago.....he was a football broadcaster for NBC. He was fun and pleasant to listen to during the games....I'll miss him!

Hey y'all, thanks for gracing the planet!

Excellent article about Michael DeBakey from the NY Times. Long but worth the read -

From 2006, The Man on the Table Devised the Surgery.

Dr. DeBakey invented the MASH. He invented the bypass. Dr. Cristiaan Barnard (sp?) actually did the first heart transplant, but I'm sure DeBakey did his fair share!

Also, even though I'm a Red Sox fan, a tip of the cap to Bobby Murcer is in order. RIP, big fella.

I really liked Tony Snow and the more I heard about him after his illness, the more I admired him. He seemed to have his head on straight and he was quite the family man from what I understand. Loved his sense of humor. RIP, Mr. Snow. As for those people who posted such vile comments about him and his illness, their day is coming.
    Blessings,
    Mary
