    Sasha in declining health

Just back from the vets, Sasha is having a minor vestibular incident right now, not nearly as bad as the last one. But she is also in declining health and the vet predicts she likely won't see Christmas.

Just wanted to share this with everyone and have you keep her in your thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of Sasha's declining health. Enjoy every moment you have with her to the fullest.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Thanks everyone for your prayers and good thoughts. Sasha's having good and bad days. Yesterday we had a great walk, even chased a bunny, albeit he was already gone as we ran and we didn't run very fast. Today, not so good, she's fallen down twice. Both times on her left shoulder. The last time, just a few minutes ago, she dumped her muzzle in the dirt too. She is still eating, still wants treats, and still wants to go for walks. Taking it day by day until it's time to let her go to the Bridge to see big sister Sami.

I'm glad she is still enjoying her walks and treats! This must be awfully hard on you - but I hope you can build lots of good memories now to add to the ones you already have.
