    Anyone near MT. VERNON, IL?

HHBCR is trying to pull a dog from Jefferson County Animal Control in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, but we don't have any contacts there. Is there anyone who would be able to pull and hold this dog until transportation can be arranged? It may take a week or two.

He is house broken, and good with both kids and other dogs.

Any fees you endure will be reimbursed.

Also, I hope no one minds me posting this in Dog General. Barely anyone reads Dog Rescue. =\

Oh, I wish I did live close. He is a cutie!!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Jess, that's actually not too far from me. I'm not sure if I personally would be able to foster, but I can look into some places.

EDIT: Yeah it's about two hours east from my home, maybe an hour from school

I'll see if I can't sweet talk someone into helping, maybe I COULD take him in if transportation could be arranged asap since my house is already pretty full.... NO PROMISES, though, I will still ask around at school tomorrow.

Thanks Jess. I'll let Sally know that you are trying to find someone, but that there are no promises.
