A Few Favorites from My Shoot Today

I had a lot of fun today and got some really good pics! I just wish I could show you a few of my favorite kid ones. There are two in particular that I'm really proud of. One is just half a girl's face after it had been painted. She's got the prettiest blue-green eyes. I can show you the clown. I told her I loved all her bright colors.

And I saw all that pretty face paint so I couldn't resist getting some artsy ones, as well.

I told her that today was my first time photographing people, that I was used to dogs. It was some good experience for me as the kids weren't staying still and posing, like the dogs did. There was one girl that is another of my favorites that did love having her pic taken but the rest I had to work at it. I'm really glad I went today! I was so nervous when I got there but that went away quickly and now I've got my first time done.

Very nice! It is always good to get the first time out of the way. You'll just build confidence with every shoot you'll do.

Oh Val you look so cool!!!! I hope you had fun. I volunteered at a Mitzvah Day at my friend's synagogue and I had a blast with the kids, as much as I'm not crazy about little kids. But painting their fingernails and blowing bubbles with them was the high point of the whole day. These were kids are orphans from DCF who haven't been adopted. Great day, regardless of the rain.
