Tucker Spends Time with Cousins (or is that Nephews)

We took Tucker up to see Cincy, Sadie and Spot yesterday so that he could have some time with them without other dogs. It was also so that Amy could see how they react to a puppy - she is dogsitting one in a couple of weeks. As you can see, her dogs were very excited to see him.

Why doesn't anyone want to play with me? I'm so darn cute!

Grandpa, why did you bring that little brat with you? Can you take him home now?

    I second that, please Grandpa

Where is he now? He better not jump on me again!

Dad will you play with me

Can't they see I'm lots of fun!

Aww, Mom, do we have to have our picture taken with that runt?

Look, mom, he doesn't even know how to pose!

    Okay, but you owe us

I sure wish they liked me

They sure have big bones around here. Why don't I ever get any this size at home?

Oh, you don't have to worry, Tucker never stays despondent too long. Since they wouldn't play with him, he started that silly chase around the house by himself with his tail between his legs. He's really not as hyper as a jack russell should be - guess that papillon side slows him down.

Diana, I say you do pretty good at *channeling* doggie thoughts. What a fun day and thank you for letting us enjoy it with you. Tucker is growing up but still a cutie pie. I'm thinking he enjoyed having some one on one time with mom and dad on the trip over.

    Rachel,

I'm not allowed to take Tucker to work with me anymore and he had learned to ride in the car so well. (he just lies down and sleeps or just lies there - he's getting almost to big for his "purse"). I want to keep him a good car traveler so we have to take him on these field trips every now and then. He goes to my parents (although Dazzi is my parents favorite so sometimes Dazzi goes instead). He has gone to my sisters but he tries to eat all the cats food and it doesn't set so well with him.

I have to say that I am so happy to see Tucker! That little boy is looking grown up! I can't beleive it. He is so freakin' cute and I still want him!

Diana and Amy, please give all of your doggies great big hugs from me!

Aw, it's okay Tucker, you are just a lot of pup for the cousins. I am sure they would like to go for walkies with you and snuggle with you, if you ever get tired.

Poor Tucker. All the dogs looked unhappy. Your captions were hilarious. I'll play with you, Tucker. Maybe your next visit will be one more fun.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
