    Gotcha Day (4/9) -- New cat-nephew

    (background here: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showpost...3&postcount=15)

I met Milo for the first time yesterday after church. He's an ORANGIE! He is now nine months old and a big kitten. He is so funny! If you throw his mousie a good distance - maybe ten feet - he will chase it, pick it up in his mouth and bring it back. A kitty retriever. I was petting him and he reached for my hand with all his paws, but no claws out. He's been neutered but he has all his claws. Should he ever make it outdoors without a leash he would need them. He will be a total indoor boy though. My niece took pictures of him walking on the piano keyboard, which I will post when I get them from her. He was walking from low to high - Milo the Musician! So, that is how it stands for now. I hope he'll have a long and happy life. P.S.: he looks a lot like Catmandu's Michael, same shape to their heads.

Milo and I played fetch with his mousie for half an hour last night. Then he walked on the piano keyboard for me. He is so funny!

Here is Milo. He's got the softest coat! He started to wash about 1/8 second before I could press the button on the camera.

Awww what an adorable ORANGE boy! Reminds me of my grandmothers RB cat, Boots. He was a playful guy all 20 years of his life and was one of the first cats I remember being around.

Tell his catmom that he is absolutely precious

I cat-sat Milo this weekend because his family was at a wedding out of town. He's now 15 months old (his first birthday was in August) and still growing! I am happy to report that he was a very good boy and gave me LOADS of headbumpies. I adore my Orange Nephew!

Here's a new picture of Milo -- doesn't he look like Catmandu's Michael?

I bet he turned out to be the best Christmas present under that whole tree!
