    Gabby the lab ?

Just wondering what mix/breed you think Gabby is. I'm probably bringing her home on friday. I'm thinking lab x siberian husky. She talks alot like huskies. She constantly whines and yips and talks when you talk to her it is so cute! She is probably 70 pounds although i'm just guessing she might weigh less than that.

She always has her paws crossed when she lays down

She knew how to fetch and she also loves to swim

    I'm not seeing husky, sorry.

I would say Lab / Golden Retriever or some other Retriever cross. She has the low brow of both; I think of a higher head for a husky.

The water is the Lab; the fetch is the Retriever; and the crossed paws means ADORABLE POOCH!!!

She could possibly even be a pure Lab, I've seen many 'backyard bred' Labs look a lot like her. Especially in the picture of her running, it just screams Labrador. I don't see Husky, Golden or Weim. *shrugs*

I was also thinking about a byb lab. I can't really put my finger on anything else she could be mixed with...She is adorable whatever she is!

I see Chesapeak in her for some reason.
But she could be pure too.

My RB dog Zoe had grey hair when she was only a year old.

Thanks! I'll get better pictures tomorrow when she is here. In those she would not look at the camera. She is coming tonight (hopefully!)

I posted this reply yesterday but in your other thread about 'possible new dog'. I didn't see this thread until now and think it belongs here though so I'll re-post.

    That is one BEAUTIFUL dog!
I'm thinking she looks like a Chesapeake Bay Retriever cross.
Here are some pics of Chesapeakes. They have the square-ish heads and the tails are a bit bushy and they sure LOVE water!
