Ok, enough w/the bad weather already! *Update 3/11*

Apparently the Universe doesn't want me to have new bras. I've been trying for two weeks to go in for a fitting but we've had either tons of snow or ice storms. I was all set to go today and we got hit w/more snow: 4-6 inches today, 8-10 more predicted for tonight and 4-6 more tomorrow. We're almost out of salt so they're telling people to stay home because they're going to pick and choose where they spread the salt. My bank is 6 minutes away and it took me 25 minutes to get there and another 25 to get back. So looks like "the girls" are gonna have to wait for some new bras.

AT least it's going to die down tomorrow in the early evening... because I am wanting to go out and see a couple friends.. that I haven't seen in a while.

So I'm with you there, I'm sick of this weather.

I first major snow here in Northern KY - I'm sick of shoveling snow. Hubby and I are trying to keep up with the accumlation. Two driveways makes for lots of shoveling. We are under blizzard warning until 4 p.m. Saturday.
Additional couple inches of snow predicted for Sunday/Monday.
Schools went today and had to scurry to get kids home safely. Hubby took a sick day since he has to drive 45 miles one way rural roads. I certaintly hope the school board got allot of calls from angery parents. Totally stupid to try it today.

No snow here but we are getting some serious rain complete with lightning and some thunder. Poor dogs are cooped up in the house.

My snow plow guy sounded as though he was going to cry, especially when I told him the forecast. It's times like this that I'm sorry I sold my 4 wheel drive Chevy Blazer. My car has front wheel drive but I still don't feel safe in this kind of weather. Ah well, looks like I'll be watching movies and stuffing my face all weekend. I'm invited to a seafood dinner party tomorrow night but I just spoke to the hostess and it's on a "wait and see" basis now. I'm good either way. I just don't want to drive in this mess.

My snowplow guy plowed my driveway during the night and you can't even tell it's been done. We've got nearly 2 ft. of snow and it's still coming down. Winter storm warning continues until 4:00 AM tomorrow. Good grief.

We're up to about 10" right now and possibly that much more on the way. We have resorted to moving one truck out of the fence and only worrying about 1/2 of the driveway. I do shovel paths for the dogs out in the yard. I love snow, but come on!

I'm almost out of birdseed, so I had a crumb cake that was hardly touched and I left it right in the pan and put it out for the birds to pick at. They apparently like it because they're leaving the birdseed alone, what little there is of it. I could hardly walk in all the snow; it was up to my knees. And it keeps on comin'......

Mary, my boots aren't tall enough for this snow! I too, like you, am getting disgusted that I work all week and when the weekend comes, I'm trapped and can't go anywhere. I have to confess though, the dogs and I are having a blast playing in it.

Ah yes, I can remember when I had my little Peke-a-poos, Charmin and Daisy, they were so little that they'd sink down into the snow, so we always had to clear a path for them. My border collie, Heidi, however, loved the snow and she would scoop her nose in it and pile it high, as though she was trying to see how much she could balance on her nose. I miss those days so much.

We currently have 11.5 inches of snow here in Cleveland, and it is only 11:15AM.
