I ride a bike!: By Quinn

Hi everyone! Guess what? I learned how to ride a bike, it's so much fun! Before I went on my bikeride, though, mommy made me try on my new helmet and guess what? She needs to buy one that's smaller because even though this one was the smallest the store sold, it's still WAY too big. Mommy needs to find an itty bitty helmet made for itty bitty little ladies.

Here's a few photos of me showing off my new biking gear. You like?

So I'm doing really good with my standing and walking as long as I'm holding on to something, and I just started standing without holding onto anything! Mommy is really proud of me. She said that I'll be walking before she knows it.

    Enjoy!

    Love,

    Quinn

Silly people! Don't they know little bitty girls need helmets, too? Looking good, Quinn, now let's hope Paul doesn't see this, or he'd make me wear shin pads biking, too! Not that I'll be riding my bike anytime soon - it is snowing so hard here that by the time I got to the end of the driveway, the top had another inch and a half of snow on it!

Quinn, you are looking so cute on that bike with your little helmet on! You are just too adorable. The way you are getting around, you are going to be walking in no time at all!!!! Now you be very careful on that bike little sweetie.

Boy, that brings back memories of when I used to take Amy for rides on my bike. And then Rob and then Christy. Wow, that was a long time ago! They didn't have all that safety equipment back then.

Quinn, you look so adorable in all your safety garb. I am glad you Mom and Dad thought of getting those things to make your rides safer.

Leslie, you and Quinn look so happy together. I am glad you have found such happiness and I think, contentment. You are one lucky lady to have such a beautiful girl!

Wow, Quinn, looking good honey! Lots of fresh air and things to see while you are out biking with your mummy! Take care of each other and look out for bad drivers!

The only thing we are riding around here is a sled! Great pics.

I have a trailer in which I pull Jonah around. When I was researching the thing, something that caught my eye, and I wanted to point out...make sure you dress Quinn in at least one more layer than typical. She will get alot of wind, and she isn't working up a sweat to keep warm, too. I would prolly put a light hat on underneath the helmet. Just a thought...

Quinn, that looks like so much fun! I really want to get a bike seat for Nathan, but Justin wasn't too sure about it. I just showed him your pictures and now he's coming around to the idea of getting a bike seat.

Miss Quinn! You're big enough to be wearing a bike helmet already - and those are sneakers I see on your feet! Wowie! I hope you get to see all kinds of interesting things when you and mommy go bicycle riding!

Thank you all so much. I didn't end up making her wear her helmet, as it covers her eyes and that just seemed cruel. I still need to get her a helmet, I feel so neglectful wearing a helmet and not making her wear a helmet. She really, really loves riding and it's such good excersise for me. The other day she actually fell sound asleep in the chair, so I KNOW she was just as comfey as can be
