Cat loves to bottle feed

Hello,

We adopted our cat Zella from the shelter about a year 1/2 ago and she has a peculiar habit- she likes to bottle feed- that is, she loves drinking water from a water bottle instead of a bowl. whenever we get a bottle out of the fridge (for our own consumption) she goes nuts and insists on having some. we have now designated water bottles for her in the fridge that we keep filling up. what could this behavior mean? Thanks!

Im no expert on cats although i have 2.

Maybe shes gotten used to drinking from a bottle when she was a kitten?
Did you bottle feed her?
My kitten Petal does something like that( im going to have a post on it soon).
