    Super Pet Expo 2008 *20*

I went to the Super Pet Expo in Edison, NJ today. Obviously there were tons of vendors for products, rescues, etc. There was also live entertainment. They had a dock dogs/air dogs show, live bird show, the worlds deadliest snakes behind glass, The Chicken man show, pony rides, alpacas, and even a Tiger rescue even brought two baby tiger cubs up from Florida. They were SO cute and they were playing. I couldn't get much picture of them though. But anyway, I just wanted to share them with you and wondered if any pettalkers happened to go from NJ?

(excuse my hair it looked horrible today)Ok I'll start with meeting Elwood, "The World's Ugliest Dog":

He was adorable, so tiny, even tinier then Sassy. He was really fragile looking and I think he was adorable, in an ugly sorta way.

Meeting some of the worlds Deadliest Snakes:

    Diamond back Rattlesnake.

    some other type of rattler.

    a cobra.

    Really cute dog beds lol:

    Dock dogs/air dogs:

Really weird looking bamboo/fish tank thingy:

I didn't really like this vendor though. They had lizards in a smaller tank then my hermit crab.

A wolf preserve brought along a real wolf:

Making friends with one of chicken man's chickens...

Some of the chickens, they were so tame. You were allowed to just walk up and pet them:

    The Chicken man's truck:

    A cute Alpaca:

some dogs modeling their owners products:

The Pomeranian was a little nasty though. It tried to nip me.
    Random Newfoundland:

    A English Bulldog pillow:

(continued and on to the BEST part)

A wolf Rescue in New Jersey had a booth there but I forgot the name of it. They brought two wolves with them. One pure wolf and one wolf-dog. They were so tame and sweet, and they both wanted a Belly rub lol. They allowed you to go in the pen with them to take a picture for a $5.00 donation. ANY experience with a wild animal I take and of course I did it. This picture is kinda crappy because it scanned from a Polaroid but the ones my dad took were blurry lol:
    First the sweetheart laying down..

    this was the girl.

The one of me petting Takoda, the pure wolf:

Hope you enjoyed. It was a VERY fun day.

I LOVE the pet expos held near here, so when I saw the title I HAD to click and open this thread!

Wow, what a lot of neat, interesting stuff you had to look at. And even though you didn't show all of it in photos, just knowing what you got to see makes is SO amazing. I am so glad you got the chance to attend.

The photos are great! A fun day!! Wahoo!

Thanks everyone!! It was an awesome experience being able to pet live animals that I don't really get to experience. Of course seeing all the dog breeds was really cool to. I loved it! Hopefully I can go back next year!!

I KNOW it wasn't Lakota Wolf Preserve for a fact. We have been donating there for years but never got the chance to visit. I would really like to visit though.

Just found it on the list of exhibitors:

Thank you for sharing the great pictures of the Pet Expo.

I use to enjoy going to the Pet Expo out my way, until it had a change of venue.
Looking at your pics maybe I will try to go this year.
