A few years ago, as we knew Lady`s life was coming to an end and time was very precious, we decided to do what we had never managed to do, and that was taking her on a trip. We rented a cabin just outside Lake George, a wonderful tourist attraction in upstate New York. She did surprisingly well during the drive, since she had never driven such a distance in her eleven years. Never had a problem. The woman who rented us the cabin was very friendly and loved Lady instantly. I forgot I even had pictures from this trip, but I was going through some old photos I had saved to discs, and I found them. I thought I would share them with you all because it was such a special trip for Lady and I don`t really think I was around to post any pictures of Lady during her "senior" years.
My apologies for the "flashbulb eyes," but I don`t have paintshop pro on my laptop and didn`t know how to get rid of it otherwise.
And also, these pictures were taken shortly after her trip. I can`t remember if I posted them back then. They were taken about a year before she passed, but they were some of the last I was able to get of her.
Silly girl!
Thank you for looking and reading about my special girl.![]()
