I took a few pics a couple of days ago cause it was really clear and we have a great view of the mountains. This is one I took.

Pasubio is part of the pre-alps. It is one of the most rugged looking of them all and my favorite due to that fact. We are quite far north only about 3 hours from the Austrian border so your guess was quite right.

Lut I did take that pic from our garden in the back of the house. We do live rather close to the mountains in fact we can be right in the centre of Asigo is about 1 hour. Guido loves to be close to the mountains. In fact we are looking for a house in the mountains. Not way up or anything but near the base of them. It is taking time to find a house in the location we want but we will.

Argranade...in resizing the pic a lot of the detail cannot be seen as it is about 1/8 the size of the original. The mountain is about 35 miles from my house. The picture was taken with a 70-200 zoom fully extended. If you want to see the original let me know and I will gladly share it with you.
