The vet told me to keep her quiet in a separate room for 24 hours. Give her water and later on, a little food. I tried putting her in my bathroom but she went BALLISTIC!!! I mean, jumping up into the window sill, into the shower stall, ANYTHING to get away from me and out of the bathroom. I picked her up gently, whispering to her that it'll be okay. I finally relented and let her go into my room. I know she'll be okay under the bed and will get the rest she needs. I'm just worried with all that jumping and running around in the bathroom might have harmed her. I felt under her belly briefly and there was no blood and stitches were in tact.
Should I be worried???? I hope this trauma hasn't ruined all the hard work I put into her to become a normal house cat.I also hope I haven't hurt her in anyway. I'd be SOOO upset.

Stitches still look perfect and nothing feels out of place or anything and no blood. So I know the feeling Donna.
Once the dose they gave her wore off, she got no more from us. Better she should feel a bit of discomfort and be quiet than to fly like a Wallenda!
