Birdie PICS! learning to fly!

I have been teaching Toivo to fly lately, and frankley I dont know why I didnt start sooner, I sweat within a week of starting him on flight lessons ALL of his behaviour probems disapeared. he no longers bites, paces, screams, shreds paper etc.. suddenly he allows to to cup him in my hands and touch his back.... the list goes on, its just been nothing but benafits. now he isnt doing very well yet, he doesnt crash land so much anymore, but he still has trouble landing anywhere near where he is aiming lol.









he does prefere right now to just flap his wings while walking up my arm lol

Aww, Toivo is just way too handsome. He looks like he is so proud of himself when he is "showing off" his wings. Its great that his behavioral issues are fading... if only that would happen with my tiels.

I wish I could give Indie the freedom of flying. Her breeder butchered her wings in June of last year, and they have yet to grow back.
