I Made My Furkids 2 New Cat Beds But.....(Updated New Pics On Post #27)

Hi, during my vacation I made my cats 2 new cat beds and I just finished sewing the last one shut this evening. I over stuff them a bit because later on they tend to flatten out. One is a little more over stuffed than the other one and they're not too sure about either of them yet. Here are a few pictures that I took tonight. Enjoy!!!!

Even a mouse toy couldn't persuade Storm & Pearl to use the new bed:


Storm says " You can't take my pink heart shaped bed away from me!!!"

Now these 3 pictures are of Storm lying on one of the new cat beds. In 2 of the pictures he got on the bed on his own. Can you guess which picture is the one where I placed him on the bed? He now seems to love the beds.

My choice for Storm is the first picture. I think his hind legs look awkward in that one.

That's the pic and the reason why I was going to say the first picture -- he just doesn't look comfortable!

Those are great looking, too bad all of my pets would rather sleep on the bed with me OR on random clothes/blankets on the floor than actually use a bed... lol.

My Double-Oh actually has a favorite material he loves... he has NEVER kneaded a blanket before lying down until I got this one blanket... now we own two blankets and my robe is made of the same material, and he will sleep only on those and won't move all night

Oh My my Tracey the Cat Beds are just so so Adorable.. You need to make them & sell.. Oh yes yes All you Babies are just so Adorable too..

For all of you who said picture #1, you are right. Storm still prefers the heart shaped pink bed but I'm sure that in time he'll learn to love these new beds too. Thanks again everyone.

Thanks again everyone. Sirrahbed was the one who posted the directions on how to make them. It's kind of hard to understand them until you actually start making them. You do need a sewing machine unless you have a lot of time on your hands and can hand sew them. Even with a sewing machine it takes me quite a while to make them. I make the 24 inch beds because I have large cats and sometimes they like to cuddle. I also make the rims 14 inches wide instead of 12 inches. I have also made heart shaped beds too. Another PT'er even made a square shaped bed so you can feel free to experiment. Here's the link that Sirrahbed made:Tutorial For Cat Condom Beds.
