Rose Bowl '08 - Illinois and USC

My niece is a University of Illinois graduate, and I have family and friends in Southern California. I don't know who might win the game. I'm rooting for the BANDS! Go, Marching Illini! Go, USC! Let's hear it for halftime! I'm a grown-up band geek.

I'm hoping the weather will be terrific and I'm sure the parade will be the best yet. So, Richard and Edwina's Secretary and all the other PTers in California, I'll have you all on my mind tomorrow!
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

    LOL,
I can only remember one NYD when it rained......

The weather is always stunning and the inside joke is for parade day weather to be crappy because everyone wants to move here after they see the parade!

    Yesterday the weather was unbelieveable!

A tad windy but we will survive!

Here's to a good game and great halftime show.

I watched the parade for years and it never gave me the urge to move here!

Ever notice that you know the school songs from all the big unis?

The UCS band played at the first NFL game I went to....the USC campus is across the street from the LA Coliseum.

    Those were the "TUSK" days.

What color of unis would you pick for a team named after a BC device?

And nothing looks better on a cheerleader than a tight white sweater!

    Fight on!
