    Blk/Tan Coonhounds

    Just curious...

Has anyone ever had one? I've always loved the breed but have never been around one. I'd love to see pics and hear your stories if you have any!

I have never had one but I love them.
They are such a gentle dog, nothing ever seems to upset them. They are adorable with one of the cutest hound faces. I know of a good site but I'll have to look for the URL.

No you don't see them very often here. But they are a wonderful dog. They are so cute, they have a sad expression that makes you want to hug and kiss them and never let go.

This is a great site American Black and Tan Coonhound Club
you'll want to take everyone of them home, they really steal the heart. Or maybe it's just me the big old hound lover I would really like Jersey, Miss Darlington .... and well all of them The happy ending page is great to, you can read and see how wonderful these dogs are and Beauregard's story is really great and Hunter is soooo adorable Im so happy he has a wonderful home.

Okey I think I have talked enough enjoy !

They are gorgeous dogs. There is one in one of our dog obedience classes. Just one note, if you want an dog for obedience competitions, don't get a Black and Tan Coonhound. They are just so laid back and are too interested in other smells to pay any attention to what you are trying to teach them. But they are very friendly dogs. And beautiful too!!
