and the babies have NAMES!!

these 3 little cuties are one week old, and now..named!

first we have the spotted saffire moter baby, right from the moment she was born she was motering all over the place, heck when we first saw the litter, this little baby had already got to the other side of of tank, hile all her littermates were in the nest lol I give you...Lexus

then there is the dark one, you could call her black, but she is diluted so more of a faded black, this however makes her perfect for breeding in the future as while she is not Burmese, she can produce it! this little baby is quite the sporty little gal too and is now known as SC("Essie")

and last but not least is the Lilac baby, far more laid back then her sisters, but still a Luxory. she is known as LS("Ellis")

for those not familer, an SC is a Lexus sport coup and an LS is a Lexus Luxory Sedan

what adorable names for some adorable babies!!!

I know zip about gerbils but where can i see color names and how do you know them when they are so little.... in huskies I know what color a baby will be, but gerbils.... not a clue ...LOL

lol with the silver ones in Gerbils, they are 3 Silver colours, Lilac(darkest) Saffire(middle) and Dove(lightest), our Lilac baby is clearly darker then then the Saffire baby, with meant we could have had either Saffire and Dove or Lilac and Saffire, and Dove isnt a colour possable in this litter, so the colours have to be Lilac and Saffire. the black one, is well..black lol we werent so sure of her being black for a while though because she carries a Diluting gene, with makes her black look more like dark grey, there is no colour name for a faded out black lol
