Last night was 'treat night' where everyone gets some sort of treat where they would get something like cooked pasta, veggies, or fruit it just depends on the rodent. Well I went to give Trixie and Krista there treats and so I handed Trixie hers and she ran into their little wooden house and I could see Krista in it and when I second I pet her and she didn't wake up I knew something was wrong. So I lifted up the wooden house to find that Krista had passed on. Trixie refused to leave her body until she was finished eating. Then she did a little sniff on Krista nose as if to say good-bye and ran off. I don't know what she died of and I just jope Trixie will be okay.
I don't even really know what to say. I have had Krista and Trixie since March 19 2006 and I remember going to every pet store in the city looking for a pair of dwarfs and finding them at the last pet store in the city that sold animals. It was a little odd since my last pair of dwarfs (Dusk and Mocha) had been the exact same colours. They were tame already and loved the extra space the tank had that their old home didn't. I celebrated Krista's first birthday (along with Trixie) on March 15 2007 since I didn't know their real birthdays. I know most of what I just said was about Krista and Trixie but I did everything with them together. I do remember that in their balls Krista would get bored before Trixie would, I remember that for the longest time Krista was a healthy weight but then within a few months of being one she became a piggy just like her sister. I loved Krista so much and I still do. It just feels like she has been around here forever and now she is gone. :'(
Rest In Peace Krista. Say hello to the hams and wait for your sister. <3
