    Prayers needed

For my grandmothers cat catya she disappeared for a couple days and we were worried she was hit by a car so we went searching and found she's been living under the bushes in our garden, we brought her in fed her and gave her water and she was severly dehydrated and looked like she hadn't eaten so we thought maybe she was hit why else wouldn't she come out of the garden?. So off to the vets, and they said she seems fine just depressed. So we came home and the next day she was worse, but I saw her drinking so we thought she was improving. Nope since then she's become severly emaciated and dehydrated she's been to the vets another 2 times and they have no idea whats wrong with her. She's not old either. They ran bloodwork all came back clean, x-ray's, etc etc. Today if she is well enough they will be opening her up for an exploratory surgery. The vet says they think she might have 2 masses inside her. So with the surgery they say she has a 50/50 chance of living due to her being so weak. They kept her overnight and are going to decide this morning if she is well enough to undergo surgery. if they do have the surgery and its cancer she will die anyways they say Please keep her in your thoughts today, she needs it she had a rough start in life.
The vet said that to that cats with a rough start in life, it seems to catch up on them when they are older. We found her pregnant and very sick as a young cat. Anyways keep her in your thoughts please.

    UPDATE:
The vet just called they did the surgery and she had two hernias, one was wrapped around the bowel. They call it strangulation of the bowel. They couldn't save her she was just PTS. Shes now on her way to the bridge. My grandma is picking her up this afternoon and we'll bury her.

Catya had the best life with you, even if it was too short(it always is). Condolences to your family, and peace to Catya. She is running and playing at the Bridge, and enjoying all the wonderful food and drink there.

I am so sorry she had to leave your Grandma so soon. But I'm glad Catya is no longer in pain.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Catya may have had a rough start in life and an even rougher finish but now she's living the life she was meant to, one of good health and peace. She'll rest, then play hard at the bridge until such time as she's reunited w/you all again. A candle burns for you all.
    Blessings,
    Mary

My husband and I dug a hole and helped my grandma to lay her to rest this evening. Its been a rough year with pets for my grandma, but I told her her animals were all young together now they're all growing old together. Last year she had 6 cats and now shes down to 3 and is very upset.

    {{{{hugs}}}} to your grandma.

When the time is right...do you think she would take in a younger adult? It will be so hard for her when the older ones are gone.

    Unhappy R.I.P. Sweet, Sweet Catya

R.I.P, sweet, sweet Catya. {Nearly crying here }. My deepest condolences to your grandmother for all of her losses, especially the loss of Catya. She's been through too much lately. My condolences to you, too. You did all you could to save her, and now she plays happily and peacefully at the rainbow bridge. {Now I AM crying}.
