Thread: What breed(s) is Digi.

    What breed(s) is Digi.

I'm a little bored at work, so I thought I would make a fun thread to guess Digi's breed(s).

I think shes a Collie, Australian Shepherd mix, as the collie comes in her colours (those rottie markings) & I think he head looks like one, & the spots from the Aussie.

Someone asked if she was a Dobbie yesterday I swore that person had been drinking too much water (I was back home & the water is blamed for everything, as the canal the drinking water is from is filthy!!)

Others said A German Shepherd, but I don't see it.

REMEMBER Digi has been shaved. Her fur is about 1-2 inches in length (The tip of her tail wasn't shaved *idots*.

Shes also guessed to be about 8weeks old (honestly I have no idea, I just made her b-day to be Aug 1st)

Leg spots, & close up of her face colouring

    He has crazy long legs!!!

Doesn't it look like someone stuck to totally different front legs on her heheh You can also her 1/2 a triangle on her chest.

A HORRIBLE pic of me (it should be burned!!), but it shows her Skull really well, & the little forehead slant.

Looking top down on her head

I don't have a picture of it yet, but she has an amazing alert stand (or whatever its called). When people come out of no where, she gets this really nice stand & she stays VERY alert & doesn't move.. She holds her head very high & her back legs kinda remind me of a German Shepherd being stacked, but not nearly as low.

Have fun guessing.. If you can find pictures of a mix breed or a pure breed that looks a lot like her, that'll be cool!!!

I'd also would REALLY like to rule out German Shepherd, Rottweiler & Doberman, as they are next on the dog breed ban!! If I can find 2 breeds that can produce a dog just like her, then I'm going to make up as BS story & say her mom was this & her dad was this(I just want to know the truth, but will burry it, if I have to).. so there is NO way she can get stuck on that breed list. She too sweet to muzzle for the rest of her life

I usually don't even try guessing dog breeds until the pup is at least 9 months old.

head looks all wrong to be a Bernese. ...I think. Though she could be big enough.

She *could* have some aussie or BC in her.

You could always tell them that she's a Peruvian Cattle Dog that was rescued from over seas, but you lost the paperwork during the move. (JUST KIDDING. Don't go that route.)

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

She reminds me of a Collie, or Sheltie. I could also see some GSD. But that doesn't really fit in with her ears (although she is young). Both Collies and GSDs have prick ears (or in the Collie's case, semi-flop), so you'd think her ears would stand up a bit more. However, GSD ears don't rise until they get older....hmmm....she could also have some Aussie in her.

Here's a picture of my Collie/Aussie mix when she was around 9 weeks, and then around 12 weeks old for comparison:

Here's her in her "stance". She my other two dogs out in their kennel and she was very interested. Now when she gets into her "stance" mode she looks more like a Border Collie about ready to kill something.

I guess her ears were droopy too. Now they are semi-prick like a Collies.

For some reason, she reminds me of my neighbors Chow/Lab mix, but I think that is just because she's shaved. LOL

I too think it is a little early to be exact on her breeds. Your Collie and Austrailian Shepherd mix looks pretty good so far. If he is that mix, expect energy out the wahzoo!

Aww, every "guess the breed" thread needs an answer like this: An Adorable-arian Shepherd.
She kinda looks like my girlfriend's horribly awkward airedale puppies. But she probably loses that look completely with hair.

I keep thinking Cutasauraus Rex. She reminds me of Calvin (the blond haired comic character.)
