    Meet Bria, the lollipop doggy

On my way to work in the morning, I often pass this adorable dog. She belongs to a lollipop lady (I have it on excellent authority that these people are called "crossing guards" in the States) and comes to work with her. She sits ever so nicely and makes sure that the kids are taken safely across the road. Lots of the kids make a fuss of her, and one little girl brings her a biscuit every day. Amazing that only one does!

When the schools went back this year I stopped to ask if I could take a couple of photos of her, so that all the doggy fans here can meet her too.

She absolutely loves pats, and would have sat on my feet cuddling in to me all day, I think.

Oh She's too cute and I can't believe either that only one kid brings her a snack!

I'd probably get scolded for giving the dog my lunch every day, but I certainly would have something for her, and give her hugs, too! What a sweetie!

What a cutie! I'd be right there with the kids who fuss over her! Hi, Bria!

I don't know what kind of doggy Bria is. I realised I should have asked after I left. She gets very shaggy over the winter, and usually gets a nice clip at the start of the summer. Her hair was starting to grow back when I took the photo.

She is adorable. Thank you for thinking of us and taking her picture for us. I would walk past Bria's post even if I went to a different school.

  10. I think Lollipop is such a great visual! What I want to know is why Bria isn't wearing a bright orange (or is it green???) vest? And maybe even a special hat?

At first when you said lollipop lady i thought you were referring to the candy... we had a brand here that vendors would sell. (If i remember correctly the brand originated in Europe.)

Others were asking... I think she looks like an Old English Sheepdog.

    Wish i could pet her!

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
